How should we utilize the time in this lockdown?

1. Development of Skills:

How often do we get asked about our hobbies? Often, right? But the thing is we don't always get the time of our lives to really work for them, develop them into skills.  This is because a skill is not something that we may just find inside ourselves. It takes a lifetime of experience to convert a hobby into skill. The only thing we are blessed with is our own subconscious, our own thought process, our interests. And luckily, this is all the motivation that we ever need to work on something, work on our hobbies, make something more than just mere "hobbies". And this lockdown may just be the perfect time to start seeing something inside of us, work on it and make something out of it.

2. Learn something new:

"Learning is a never-ending process." We have heard this phrase countless times. And just as it has no end, it doesn't have a boundary too. You have a whole world full of things just waiting for you to known, books waiting to be read, videos waiting to be watched, and so on. All it takes is a bit of will and you can learn many new things and guess what? It will never go to waste. You'll find a use of them however useless they seem now.

3. Know Yourself:

"Who you really are?" Sounds like such a stupid question, right? Well not many people can answer this question honestly. You have always wanted that six-pack body, that BMW car, that latest iPhone, and so on. But have you ever thought what you're gonna do when you achieve it? The answer is no because you actually don't know yourself, you don't know what you want, you have confused what you want with what you need. Spend some time with yourself and know who you actually are and what do you want with your life? Trust me, it's gonna be worth your while.

4. Start a new healthy habit:

Meditation, Yoga, and Exercise, however boring they may sound at first, are actually very good habits with 1000s of years of research and even Veda backing them up. Just because you have not tried it yet, doesn't mean they don't make a difference. Exercise keeps you healthy, running burns calories, meditation is good for your mental health. Just try it and you will know what I am talking about.

5. Spend some time with our family:

Having a healthy relationship with everyone in our family doesn't hurt. Pandemics like these make us care about each other, so why not show how appreciable we are to the most important persons in our lives, i.e. our family. We don't need to wait for any opportunities to spend time with our family, this moment is quite enough. Furthermore, it adds to our mental health.

This lockdown is a very good time to do something very different because after it ends, the world is not going to be the same.
